Real Gone Web Site is no more... Long Live the Real Gone BLOG!
As of Dec.11, 2008 the Real Gone website will end, but the blog will continue on.
Kevin has moved to Chicago and is playing gigs with bands there- I will add updates on his status.

Sarah has left the building. If we get an update on her whereabouts, we'll be happy to include it!
Christian D has formed his new band,
Christian D and the Hangovers.
and Michael is now playing drums with them. They are set to play their first Ottawa and Montreal gigs this week.Come on out! Christian D and the Hangovers are also booked to play the 2009 Red Hot and Blue Weekender in Montreal, Labour Day weekend.

REAL GONE on hiatus

Hopefully this will prove to be temporary, as REAL GONE has a lot of fans, but for the moment, all members are missing in action. Christian has left for other projects, Sarah is in the countryside, Kevin in the States and Michael is working on Buble's world tour. That's where it stands at present.

Following REAL GONE's July 9 gig at Ben Wick's on Parliament St. in Toronto. Lady Sarah attempts to squeeze her bass into one of the incredible vintage cars which came to the event! The 1929 Model T Ford Hot Rod belongs to Loren Green, also seen in the photo (and yes, that IS how you spell his name!)

REAL GONE is playing an out of town "Coasters" car rally with one of their favourite local bands, The ROYAL CROWNS. It's on Sept.2, but a private gig, open only to Coasters members and by special invite- sorry!

REAL GONE performed at the Cadillac Lounge, April 8th...
Kevin (the guitarist) was well lubricated and in fine rockn'roll form. He was celebrating his upcoming nuptials- and left after the gig to continue his all day (and nite) "stag" party. The beautiful bride to be, Erika, was at the show wearing her "Running of the Stag(gette)" chapeau, decorated by Linda for the occasion.
Kevin and Erika marry in 2 weeks in Houston, Texas. Wish we could all go...

February Photos, NEW CD, UK Sarah

REAL GONE was invited to play an upcoming Rockabilly weekender in the UK... alas, the band couldn't make it this time... but we are there in spirit(s) through our Lady Sarah, who is off causing trouble across the pond, with the lovely Larissa as accomplice. We are expecting photos and amazing stories from Sarah, to be posted here upon her return!!!

In February REAL GONE had the honour of playing the legendary Horseshoe Tavern, in Toronto. Photos are posted on the website, along with the Boathouse, Kitchener photos.

Michael, REAL GONE's drummer, was also celebrating his birthday, two days earlier! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHAEL!!


Thanks to special guest Alistair Christl. He'll also be opening for REAL GONE at the upcoming Kitchener gig.

Pete Gorilla stood in for REAL GONE's guitarist Kevin Mahon, who was out of town. Pete's an amazing guitar player and a great rockabilly singer. He's originally from Hungary and plays with GORILLA.
